Savannah is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Savannah is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Georgia's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Wow! This location is wildly mismanaged. It’s early Saturday morning and the only things available are a few glazed and chocolate covered and they did not look fresh either. The lobby was a mess - behind the counter was a mess and the prep area a mess. There were several employees but they were just sitting around and playing on their phones. Clearly they had no oversight or responsibility. They would do better either cleaning out all the staff and starting fresh or shutting this location down and just selling in the convenience stores.

On Thursday, August 27, around 1:30 PM, I came to this location and parked my car. I went inside because I wanted to look at the donuts and choose what I wanted. An employee was cleaning the floor, and she locked the door and refused to let customers come inside. She told me that if I had a car, I needed to use the drive-thru instead. It was annoying, but I went back to my car, started it again, and drove around to the drive-thru. When I got to the speaker, I said I wanted a dozen donuts. She asked me if I wanted a dozen Original Glazed, and I told her no, I wanted a mixed dozen. Then she told me they were only accepting cash. I asked, “Who carries cash these days? I only have a card.” She just repeated, “Cash only.” So I opened the app on my phone and tried to place a pickup order instead. But apparently, they had already turned off pickup orders through the app too. So basically, I could not go inside to choose donuts, I could not pay with a card at the drive-thru, and I could not even place an order through the app. I drove all the way to Savannah for this. What a complete waste of my time and gas. I ended up leaving and driving all the way back to the Tanger Outlets in

Given this location a try many times.Everytime I come here their lobby has been closed and it looks to have been going on for over 4 months or maybe more based off the reviews. So it seems the owner and manager is aware,I would of thought something is wrong but it seems to be by choice because they don’t want to deal with many people or maybe they really are hiding the cleanliness inside. When going through the drive thru I’ve had some polite people but there are some that are not always in the best mood who don’t want to deal with the public. I never had a fresh hot donut at this location even when the hot sign is on and ordering on the app there is always a missing sold out donut .I love Krispy Kreme for sentimental reasons still,I just don’t know about this location, management has maybe lost their spark or something .No diss to the workers cause maybe there are underlying issues going on,things out of their control and just fed up,we’re all human. But other than that it seems the responsibility for change for the better is the higher ups who see these reviews .

Extremely Disappointing Experience This Savannah Krispy Kreme location is honestly one of the most disorganized and inefficient locations I’ve ever visited. The lobby is closed, which should absolutely be disclosed on the online ordering system before customers place and pay for their orders. There is also virtually no benefit to ordering online. My order wasn’t prepared ahead of time. I still had to wait in an extremely long drive-thru line, confirm my order after arriving, and then wait more than 30 minutes to receive it. The donuts were not fresh or warm. Not ever again. I don’t even typically eat donuts—I was simply picking them up for a work event because my team requested Krispy Kreme. What should have been a quick, convenient pickup turned into an unnecessarily frustrating experience. For a nationally recognized brand, customers should be able to expect much better organization, communication, and service. This location seriously needs attention from franchise or corporate management. Duck Donuts, this is your notice. Its time to enter Savannah region.

This has got to be the worst location ever. They have gone down over the years so I try to make my order simple since I know what I’m working with (either half dozen glaze or a dozen glaze) and I don’t expect them to be hot because they never are. But I ordered a dozen glaze and they repeated back a few times my order correctly. Thank god I checked the box because it was a half dozen glaze half dozen chocolate. Like the lobby is always closed and Then the drive thru staff saying in front of customers how they can’t keep up with orders and want to close early. At this point I come out better driving from the south side to Pooler for some doughnuts.
